Dr. Broach has an extensive hands-on experience in development of novel products and leading-edge technologies. She has been involved in the R&D cycles of several “disruptive” products starting with generation of new ideas, via proof-of-concept and prototyping to their scale-up or licensing. Her experience with a broad range of materials and technologies coupled with her ability to uniquely position novel ideas and further develop them has resulted in distinct IP portfolios for her clients and companies that she worked for. Her expertise includes materials and product testing, optical films and coatings, liquid crystals and electro-optical devices, 3D printing, etc. Dr. Broach serves as a judge and expert reviewer in several committees for innovation awards and innovation-related competitions. She is the inventor and co-inventor of 25+ patents and patent applications pending. Dr. Broach holds PhD in Chemical Engineering and MS in Materials Science, both from University of Rochester, Rochester, NY, USA, and MS degree in Polymer Science from St Cyril and Methodius University, Macedonia.

Dr. Petkoska is a Full Professor and has been actively involved in R&D of numerous innovative products, proprietary formulations and cutting-edge technologies. Examples include but not limited to variety of micro- and nano- polymer composites, thin films and coatings with various light management functionalities, low-power-consumption reflective liquid crystal devices, antimicrobial formulations and different technology platforms for fabrication of antimicrobial surfaces, self-cleaning surfaces, barrier- and diffusion-controlling interlayers for food- and drug- packaging, phytochemicals for nutrition, nutricosmetics and cosmetics, etc. Dr. Petkoska is the author and co-author of numerous peer-reviewed scientific manuscripts, books and book chapters and has been awarded with two US patents. Dr. Petkoska holds PhD in Chemical Engineering from University of Rochester, Rochester, NY, USA and MS in Materials/Polymer Science from St Cyril and Methodius University, Macedonia.
